A three-judge panel from the Second Western District Military Court has started reviewing the substance of the case concerning the March 2024 terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. Due to space requirements, proceedings will take place at the Moscow City Court building.

While today's hearing was open to the public, subsequent sessions will be closed to both journalists and spectators. Authorities explained this decision by citing classified materials in the case files, whose disclosure could hinder efforts to apprehend remaining suspects. According to TASS, the court has implemented "unprecedented" security protocols.
