Judge Yulia Lobanova of the Leninsky District Court in Yekaterinburg fined poet and rapper Naum Blik, whose real name is Dmitry Iordaty, 14,000 rubles under the article on involvement with an “undesirable” organization (Article 20.33 of the Administrative Code). The case was reported by Mediazona.
According to the case materials, the protocol was drawn up over four links posted on VKontakte and in the musician’s Telegram channel. They led to TV Rain materials: Anna Nemzer’s report “Why Putin Really Seized Crimea,” two films by Mikhail Kozyrev from the “Mute Rock and Roll” series about the split in the Russian rock scene in 2014 after the annexation of Crimea and about the Bolotnaya events, as well as a post linking to his film about Vladislav Surkov, who was described as the “gray cardinal of the Kremlin.”
A reference from Roskomnadzor also said that Blik had posted links to other “undesirable” organizations, including The Insider and Meduza. Those episodes, however, were not included in the final protocol.
The case file also contains a note saying that since August 2022, Blik has been living in France and working at a hotel in Paris. The musician was born in Sverdlovsk and is considered one of the figures at the origins of Yekaterinburg hip-hop. He left Russia in the spring of 2022.
In a column for E1, Blik said that on the day of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine he realized that the “regime had brought the country to the edge of an abyss,” and that he could no longer remain there.
After emigrating, the musician spoke out in support of Russian political prisoners and took part in a solidarity campaign for Zhenya Berkovich and Svetlana Petriychuk, who were sentenced to six years in prison over the play “Finist the Brave Falcon.” In August 2024, the Votvot project, part of the structure of the “undesirable” Radio Liberty, released a film about him, and in June 2025 the Justice Ministry added Blik to the register of “foreign agents.”
