Russia and Ukraine have carried out another exchange of prisoners of war. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, each side transferred 160 people to the other.
The exchange was later confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He said that all of the Ukrainian service members who returned home had been held in captivity since 2022.
This marks another officially confirmed prisoner swap between the two countries amid the ongoing war.
The previous exchange between Russia and Ukraine took place on June 5. At that time, reports said each side handed over 185 people.
No further official details about the latest exchange had been provided at the time of publication.
