According to the Patient Control advocacy group, individuals with HIV in no fewer than 16 Russian regions have been denied diagnostic services when seeking medical care. Vedomosti reports that since January, the organization has documented 40 separate instances where healthcare providers refused to conduct vital viral load and immune status testing.
