The Kirovsky District Court of Irkutsk has sentenced blogger Maria Makhmutova to two years and seven months in a settlement colony. She was convicted of insulting a police officer under Article 319 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, as well as assaulting another law enforcement representative under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
