When trying to top up the wallet, users see the notice: "Mobile phone payment is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later".
On March 30, RBC, citing sources in the telecom market, reported that Digital Development Minister Maksut Shadayev had instructed operators from the "big four" at a closed meeting to disable the option of topping up Apple ID from a mobile account starting April 1. According to RBC's and Kommersant's sources, the authorities expect that this measure will push Apple to bring Russian services back to the App Store.
