In Russia's Tula Oblast, a veteran of the Ukraine conflict detonated a grenade during an argument with associates. The blast killed four individuals, one of whom was a serviceman.

A deadly grenade blast in the Kurkino village of Tula Region claimed four lives, prompting the Investigative Committee to launch a criminal probe, officials stated.

Authorities reported the explosion happened on August 5 close to a residential home in the area, though further specifics were not provided. Investigators also withheld which legal statute was applied when filing the case regarding the four fatalities.

Telegram channels Astra and "Beware of the News" identified the perpetrator as 32-year-old Alexei Kurvyakov, a repeat offender and veteran of the Ukraine conflict, who allegedly triggered the explosive.
