In the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions, four people were killed and about 30 others were injured after drone attacks.
In the Belgorod region, the regional emergency штаб said that five people were injured after a drone struck an enterprise in the settlement of Oktyabrsky. One of the wounded later died in hospital after doctors described his condition as extremely serious.
In addition, on the morning of July 20, Belgorod authorities reported the death of a motorcyclist on the Malinovka–Otradnoye road in the Belgorod district. According to the emergency headquarters, he was killed in a drone strike on the evening of July 19.
In the Bryansk region, a Ukrainian attack killed the driver of a fire truck in the settlement of Belaya Beryozka as he was heading to put out a fire. Acting governor Yegor Kovalchuk also said that residents of the Pogarsky and Starodubsky districts were injured.
“Three civilians received injuries of varying severity. Residents of the Pogarsky and Starodubsky districts were wounded,” Yegor Kovalchuk said.
According to him, a total of 13 people were injured in the region.
In the Kursk region, Governor Alexander Khinshtein said that over the past 24 hours, an attack on a shop in the village of Malogneushevo in the Rylsk district, “near which young people had been relaxing,” killed a 20-year-old man and injured seven others. In the village of Zaoleshenka in the Sudzhansky district, a 39-year-old man was wounded, while in Rylsk a 19-year-old woman was injured.
