The remains of a Russian contract soldier stationed at the 102nd military base were discovered in Armenia. Authorities have initiated a criminal investigation under charges related to driving someone to suicide.

The body of Russian contract soldier Konstantin Antonenko, stationed at the 102nd military base, was discovered in Gyumri, Armenia. Radio Liberty reported the incident.

Sources indicate the serviceman's remains were found overnight on July 24 in the dormitory area of a factory in Gyumri. The exact circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear. Journalist Shamshyan noted that Antonenko had sustained cuts on his hands.
