According to Rosstat’s weekly monitoring of motor fuel prices, the sharpest increase in gasoline prices was again recorded in Crimea and Sevastopol.
In Crimea, the average price of one liter of AI-92 gasoline was 151.09 rubles, while AI-95 reached 201.34 rubles. In Rosstat’s published table, this was the only Russian region where the price of gasoline exceeded 200 rubles per liter.
Rosstat also listed the Novosibirsk Region, Stavropol Krai, and the Komi Republic among the regions with notable fuel price growth.
As in the previous week, the agency did not provide a detailed description of the regions with the largest increase in its explanatory note. Instead, Rosstat said that gasoline prices in Moscow rose by an average of 1.3% over the week, while in St. Petersburg they increased by 0.3%.
Across Russia as a whole, the average weekly increase in gasoline prices amounted to 2.47%, according to the statistical agency.
