In Krasnodar, a jury cleared Evgeny Skidanov, a warehouse worker who had been held in custody since 2019 over allegations of killing an associate. The "Team Against Torture" organization reported the court's decision.

By majority decision, six jurors concluded there was insufficient evidence to prove Skidanov's involvement in the homicide. He was immediately freed following the ruling at the Korenovsky District Court.
