A passenger bus transporting shift workers plunged off a cliff in Russia's Yakutia region. The accident claimed 13 lives among the 33 workers onboard.

A bus carrying shift workers plunged off a 30-meter cliff in Yakutia's Neryungri district, according to the regional Emergency Situations Ministry.

The incident involved a KAMAZ shift transport vehicle near the exit of the Vostochnaya Denisovskaya mine. Of the 33 passengers onboard, 13 lost their lives while 20 others sustained injuries. Authorities have declared July 22 a day of mourning in the Neryungri district following the tragedy.
