A St. Petersburg court has thrown out the "LGBT propaganda" charges brought against the Subscription Editions bookstore.

The Kuibyshevsky District Court in St. Petersburg dismissed an administrative case concerning alleged "LGBT propaganda" (under Part 1 of Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code) against the bookstore "Subscription Editions" due to the statute of limitations expiring. According to the city courts' press service, the proceedings were halted for this reason.

Authorities had accused the bookstore of violating restrictions on spreading information about "destructive ideology" by selling 37 books containing what they deemed "LGBT and gender transition propaganda." However, the court found that the offense was recorded on April 10, and since the 90-day limitation period had passed, the case was closed.

Among the confiscated titles cited by the court were Per Faxneld’s *Infernal Feminism*, Camryn Garrett’s *HIV Positive*, Nora Sakavich’s *Foxhole*, and several other works.
