Australian actor Julian McMahon, famous for portraying the demonic character Cole Turner in the television series "Bewitched," has passed away at 56. Entertainment news outlet Deadline confirmed the news through a statement from his spouse.
McMahon succumbed to cancer on July 2 following an extended illness. His wife Kelly McMahon shared: "Julian embraced life fully. He cherished his family, valued his friendships, was passionate about his craft, and deeply appreciated his supporters. His greatest wish was to spread happiness to countless people."
Throughout his career, McMahon became widely recognized for several notable roles: the supernatural antagonist Cole in "Bewitched," the charismatic plastic surgeon Christian Troy in "Nip/Tuck" (which earned him a Golden Globe nomination), and the villainous Dr. Doom in the "Fantastic Four" film adaptation.
