Indian military conducted airstrikes on Pakistani territory and areas of Kashmir under its control. This was reported by the Indian Ministry of Defence.
According to official data, nine targets were hit in the airstrikes. The ministry's statement clarified: "The Indian armed forces carried out Operation 'Sindur,' destroying terrorist infrastructure on Pakistani territory and in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, from where attacks against India were being planned and executed."
Military command representatives emphasized that the operation was "precise, well-planned, and deterrent in nature," noting that Pakistani military facilities were not targeted.
As reported by the Indian publication *The Economic*, the strike was conducted under the cover of large-scale military exercises taking place in the country's northern region.
