On the night of May 6-7, disruptions in mobile communications occurred in Moscow and several Russian regions. Authorities in multiple oblasts reported that the restrictions were related to drone attacks. In the capital, possible outages were also attributed to preparations for celebrating the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Major companies, including Sberbank, the Fast Payments System (FPS), VkusVill, and Lamoda, warned customers about potential service disruptions due to mobile network issues.
Simultaneously, flight restrictions were imposed in several regions, leading to delays, rescheduling, or cancellations of over a hundred flights.
