According to Pakistani military sources, India carried out missile strikes on three Pakistani airbases—Nur Khan, Murid, and Shorkot (Rafiqui). As reported by the BBC, one of these bases is located just 10 kilometers from Islamabad and serves as the main headquarters of the country's armed forces.
The Pakistani side claims that Indian aircraft used surface-to-air missiles to conduct the strikes. Major General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry also stated that Afghan territory was targeted in the attack.
