In the Moscow Metro at the Taganskaya station, plans are underway to recreate the historical bas-relief "The People's Gratitude to the Leader-Commander," which depicts Joseph Stalin. This art object is dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War, as reported by the city's Department of Transport.

The restoration work is expected to be completed soon. An exact replica of the bas-relief will be placed in the passageway connecting the Taganskaya stations of the Circle Line and the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line. The original artwork was located there until 1966 but was lost during the construction of the transfer hub.
