In the capital, law enforcement agencies detained over ten employees of the publishing house Eksmo, including staff from its subsidiaries—Popcorn Books and individuum. Three detainees were charged with disseminating "LGBT propaganda."
During the searches, more than 1,000 copies of literature deemed "illegal" were confiscated. As a result, the publishing house Eksmo sent a recommendation to book retailers to remove the editions mentioned in the investigation from sale.
The outlet Novaya Gazeta Europe compiled all available information about the pressure on Eksmo's personnel.
