The head of the occupation administration in Nova Kakhovka (Kherson region), Vitaliy Gura, has apologized for a video in which he uses profanity near a memorial to heroic soldiers. He posted his statement on his personal Telegram channel the day before, as later noted by journalist Oleg Kashin.

The official also filmed a new apology video in front of the same monument. Gura explained that the recording with offensive language was made a year ago without his consent and was, in his words, "intended as a joke."
