Konstantin Malofeev, known as the "Orthodox oligarch," has demanded that the publishing house Individuum withdraw and destroy the entire print run of the book "Kripta."

Since the summer of 2023, a legal battle has been ongoing in Moscow between the publishing house Individuum and Konstantin Malofeev—a billionaire, founder of the Tsargrad TV channel, and a prominent Orthodox Christian figure. As reported by BBC Russian Service, the businessman is demanding the seizure and destruction of the entire print run of Andrei Zakharov’s book *"Crypto: How Cypherpunks, Programmers, and Scammers Chained Russia to the Blockchain."*

Published in June 2023, Zakharov’s work includes episodes featuring Malofeev. In the lawsuit, the entrepreneur claims that nine passages mentioning his name contain *"false information damaging his honor, dignity, and business reputation."*
