According to the Dagestan Ministry of Internal Affairs, 67 minors involved in group brawls were detained in Makhachkala over the past few days.
The ministry reported that initially, on May 16, law enforcement officers detained 12 teenagers on Lenin Square. The incident occurred after an altercation between participants. Administrative cases were initiated against their legal guardians for improper fulfillment of parental responsibilities (Part 1 of Article 5.35 of the Administrative Code).
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the following day, May 17, the conflicting parties agreed to meet again and began gathering in various parts of the city. As a result, 55 individuals were detained on Kammaeva Street. Among them, 18 were charged with petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code), while administrative protocols were issued to the parents of 35 teenagers for failing to fulfill child-rearing obligations.
