At the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee, reported on the findings of the investigation into the consequences of shelling of Russian territories by Ukraine.
According to the investigation, 621 people have been killed since the start of hostilities, including 38 children. The number of injured exceeds 3,217, among whom 249 are minors.
In connection with these events, the Russian Investigative Committee has initiated over 3,000 criminal cases. The majority of cases were registered in border regions: Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, and Rostov oblasts, Krasnodar Krai, and in Crimea, which was annexed by Russia.
