In the Kursk region, the Unified State Exam (USE) for school students will continue even if a missile threat is declared. As reported by *KurskCity* to the regional Ministry of Education and Science, the exams will not be interrupted.

Earlier, acting deputy chairman of the regional government Oksana Krutko announced the introduction of additional safety measures during the USE. "To ensure the standard conduct of exams, including situations with the 'Missile Danger' alert, the operational headquarters has decided that additional protective measures for participants in the educational process must be implemented," explained the official.

Special attention, she noted, has been given to preparing the premises—before the exams, windows in classrooms must be reinforced with sandbags.

According to the publication *Govorit neMoskva*, around 3,000 graduates are expected to take the USE in the Kursk region this year. The first tests will begin on May 23.
