Activist Alexei Rozhkov has been sentenced to 16 years in prison by the Central District Military Court in Yekaterinburg. This information was reported by the outlet *Mediazona*, citing its court correspondent.

The court found Rozhkov guilty on three charges: a terrorist act (Article 205 of the Criminal Code), justification of terrorism (Part 2, Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code), and spreading false information about the Russian army (Points "b" and "d," Part 2, Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). The latter two charges stem from his interview on the *Khodorkovsky LIVE* channel, where he spoke about setting fire to a military enlistment office.

The first five years of his sentence will be served in prison, with the remaining term in a strict-regime penal colony. Additionally, the court imposed a four-year ban on administering internet resources.

The prosecution had sought a 19-year sentence, arguing the potential damage had the building been completely destroyed. Defense lawyers pointed out that the actual damage amounted to only 1,256 rubles.

Rozhkov is the third defendant accused of arson targeting military enlistment offices since February 24, 2022. On March 11, 2022, he painted a pacifist symbol on a fence near a military enlistment office in Berezovsky before throwing three Molotov cocktails into the building.

Police officers who noticed the fire quickly extinguished the flames and detained the activist. Rozhkov did not resist arrest and fully admitted his guilt in the arson attack.
