Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov has stated that "Krasnoe & Beloe" alcohol retailers are exiting the area. However, a company representative speaking with Podem declined to confirm this development.

Filimonov explained that since August 1, the licensing authority revoked the permit for Alpha-M stores' legal entity "at the owner's request."

"Let me be clear: we respect business rights, but we won't tolerate merchants of death in our region. This outcome follows naturally from our regional alcohol sales restrictions law," the governor wrote.
