The Ryazan regional government has authorized financial incentives for those who help recruit contract soldiers to serve in the war effort, according to reports obtained by 7x7 journalists.
Recruiters will receive 57,500 rubles for enlisting a local resident, 344,800 rubles for someone from another region, and 80,500 rubles for a foreign national. These payments will be funded by the regional budget, provided the military contract is signed in Ryazan before the end of 2025.
All adults are eligible for these payments except government and organizational employees whose official duties already include contractor recruitment.
Other regions, including Transbaikalia, Udmurtia, and the Samara and Ulyanovsk oblasts, have implemented similar programs. Meanwhile, the newspaper reports that forced conscription cases have been documented in the Ivanovo Region and Kuzbass, where men have allegedly been abducted for military service.
