Russia's Justice Ministry has officially classified Alexei Navalny's book *Patriot* as extremist material, as shown in its updated registry.

The banned item is the Russian-language version published in 2024 by Lithuania-based One Book Publishing. According to the ministry's records, the book is described as: *"A printed work in Russian with a dark gray hardcover, featuring the author's name on the spine. The 398-page numbered edition comes with a dust jacket displaying the author's name, title, a quote, a synopsis, and a barcode."*

The ministry noted that the Leningrad Regional Court had already ruled *Patriot* extremist in June. Previously, there had been no public announcement about banning the opposition figure's autobiography in Russia.
