A disc jockey in Russian-occupied Crimea was arrested after performing a song by Verka Serdyuchka. Authorities filed administrative charges against him for allegedly undermining the military's reputation.

On July 26, the club "Atmosphere" in Peschanoye village played Verka Serdyuchka's track "Gulianochka" during a DJ set, featuring the controversial lyric "Shche ne vmerla Ukraina." Crimean Smash channel operator Alexander Talipov reported the incident, filing a police complaint.

Talipov claimed substitute DJ Pavel Korotsky played the song by the "Russophobic transgender performer" Verka Serdyuchka "without hesitation," stopping only after a patron warned him about potential consequences.

Club representatives informed Beware of the News that Korotsky, a temporary hire, was dismissed following the public outcry. The venue's director stated he personally visited authorities to file a complaint against the DJ.
