Former head of the Russian Armed Forces' Patriot Park, Vyacheslav Akhmedov, has been sentenced by the Odintsovo City Court in the Moscow region to five years in a general regime penal colony. This information was reported by the RBC news agency.

According to the publication, the court found Akhmedov guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code: large-scale fraud (Part 4 of Article 159) and official forgery (Part 2 of Article 292). In addition to the prison term, the former park director was fined 500,000 rubles.
