At a press conference, U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the topic of upcoming negotiations with Vladimir Putin, scheduled for August 15 in the state of Alaska.

In his remarks, he stated: "Significant Ukrainian territories are under Russian occupation. Our task is to reclaim some of these lands. Russia has seized valuable coastal areas where the most expensive real estate is concentrated."

Trump also added: "Zelensky was given the green light for war and the destruction of people, and now he needs approval for territorial concessions."

Commenting on the course of hostilities, he said: "The equipment got stuck in the mud. The command chose a less-than-ideal option. Had Russian troops moved along the highway, they would have reached Kyiv in four hours. However, the general preferred the route through the fields. I don’t know who it was, but judging by Putin’s character, that person is probably no longer alive."
