The Appellate Court of Armenia ruled that the detention of businessman Samvel Karapetyan, who holds Russian and Armenian citizenship and heads the Tashir Group of Companies, was unlawful. This was stated by his lawyer, Lianna Gasparian.
As the defense attorney explained, the court concluded that Karapetyan's arrest on June 18, 2025, lacked legal grounds, causing the entrepreneur to spend over nine hours in custody without proper justification.
