The Tolyatti Central District Court ruled to transfer performer Eduard Sharlot from a settlement colony to a general-regime correctional facility. This information was confirmed by the Samara Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The supervisory authority explained that the tightening of confinement conditions was based on Sharlot's systematic violations of the regime, including "inciting other inmates to unlawful actions." For these offenses, the artist repeatedly received disciplinary penalties, though specific details of the incidents were not disclosed.
Valery Sharlot, the convict's father, told the publication *Podyom* that his son had been placed in a punishment cell (SHIZO) four times in the last 60 days. According to Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) employees, 19 rule violations were recorded.
"He didn’t clasp his hands behind his back, and personal items not listed in the inventory were found—for example, an extra T-shirt. In my opinion, these are trivialities; they could have found more violations," the musician’s father commented.
Currently, Sharlot has been transferred to a pre-trial detention center, according to his father. Lawyers intend to appeal this decision.
Recall that in December 2024, a Samara court sentenced the performer to 5.5 years in a settlement colony under charges related to the rehabilitation of Nazism and insulting religious feelings. The case stemmed from four provocative videos: destroying a "Z" symbol, burning a Russian passport, defacing a military ID before nailing it to a cross depicting Patriarch Kirill, and a distorted version of the song *Den Pobedy* ("Victory Day") with offensive content.
