The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has declared the activities of the educational foundation "International Baccalaureate" undesirable. The corresponding statement was disseminated by the press service of the agency.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the Swiss non-governmental organization International Baccalaureate pursues the goal in Russia of "shaping youth according to Western models." The agency emphasizes that the structure "imposes its own interpretation of historical events, falsifies established facts, conducts anti-Russian propaganda, and provokes interethnic conflicts."

As noted by the agency, after the start of Russia's full-scale military operation in Ukraine, the organization revised its educational and methodological materials, "aligning with the Russophobic policy of the collective West." These materials included calls for the international isolation of Russia, as well as content discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.

Additionally, the Prosecutor General's Office indicated that representatives of the "baccalaureate" promote non-traditional values based on the ideology of banned extremist organizations.

International Baccalaureate (IB, "International Baccalaureate") is an educational foundation that creates international academic programs for schools. Graduates who have completed the IB program have the opportunity to enroll without exams in many universities worldwide. In Russia, as of 2024, several dozen schools taught according to the foundation's programs.
