Former Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and one of the key participants of the Euromaidan, Andriy Parubiy, was killed in Lviv. This was reported by the publications RBC-Ukraine, Suspilne, and Ukrayinska Pravda, citing their sources.
Later, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the politician's death.
The National Police of Ukraine also announced the murder of a socio-political figure born in 1971, without naming him. The incident occurred in the Frankivskyi district of Lviv.
According to sources of journalist Vitaliy Hlahola, the attacker turned out to be a person on an electric scooter with a delivery bag from the Glovo service. According to sources, he fired eight shots at Parubiy with a pistol, then hid the weapon in the bag and fled the crime scene.
