In the settlement of Olkhovatka, which is under the control of the "DPR," a 32-year-old serviceman from Sverdlovsk Oblast, Alexei Chumachenko, committed an act of sexual violence against a nine-year-old girl and then took her life. This information was reported by the publications E1 and "Ostorozhno, novosti."
According to the Telegram channel ASTRA, the attack on Yekaterina Demidova occurred on September 5 during the day on the bank of the Bulavin River in the village of Ilyinka, near her home. Chumachenko subjected the schoolgirl to violence, beat her on the head and body, and then strangled her. He threw the girl's body into the river.
Local social media communities indicate that a year ago, Chumachenko was hired as a domestic helper by the grandmother of the deceased and lived with them, performing household tasks and helping Demidova with her studies.
