The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia has filed a lawsuit with the Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg for the transfer to state ownership of LLC "Corporation STS" and over 20 other companies owned by businessmen Artem Bikov and Alexey Bobrov. The relevant information was published by RBC, citing informed sources.
According to the supervisory authority, Bikov and Bobrov's acquisition of assets in the Ural energy complex was made possible due to their informal contacts with officials of federal and regional government bodies, including former head of RAO "UES" Anatoly Chubais. Notably, Bikov himself served as an assistant to Chubais from 2003 to 2005.
The Prosecutor's Office also established that Bikov and Bobrov, who hold Austrian citizenship, transferred funds earned in Russia to foreign accounts in Austria and Switzerland. These funds were subsequently invested in the economies of Austria and Montenegro, particularly through the acquisition of hotel properties.
Additionally, the lawsuit includes a demand for the transfer to the state of companies and property belonging to a number of current and former officials of the Urals, including Vice-Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast Oleg Chemezov.
Anatoly Chubais served as the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for interaction with international organizations from 2020 to 2022. After the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he left Russian territory.
In April 2025, following a lawsuit by "Rusnano," the court seized 5.6 billion rubles belonging to Chubais and seven other individuals involved in the case.
