A criminal case has been opened against 37-year-old Vladimir Bolobolov, a punk musician from the Moscow region, under Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Russian Criminal Code for possession of explosives. This was reported by "Important Stories," citing information from his relatives.

According to the publication, on the morning of August 27, several individuals attacked the musician from behind near a coffee shop in Reutov, forcibly pushed him into a car, and placed a bag over his head. During the drive, the assailants beat Bolobolov with stun guns, attached wires to him, administered electric shocks, and strangled him, demanding that he confess to "what they already knew about him." He was then taken to an unknown location, handcuffed to a radiator, and the torture continued.

On August 28, Bolobolov was brought to his apartment, where a search was conducted without any warrants. Officers from the FSB for Moscow and the region presented him with a homemade explosive device, resembling a power bank, which they claimed had been found in his home. The musician stated in his testimony that he had never seen the object before, the publication notes.

After the search, he was taken for interrogation, where he was again handcuffed to a radiator, a bag was placed over his head, and the abuse continued.

On August 29, Bolobolov regained consciousness at the Dorogomilovo police station, where he was forced to sign an administrative protocol for petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code). He was then released.

Following this, the musician filed a report about the kidnapping at the Reutov police department and went to a medical facility to document the signs of torture. On August 31, he was placed under administrative arrest for 15 days, and after serving the sentence, he was detained again. He is currently held in a temporary detention center in Balashikha, awaiting a decision on a new preventive measure, reports "Important Stories."
