In France, hundreds of thousands of citizens in dozens of towns have joined protest actions aimed against the government's budgetary policy. This is reported by the publication Le Parisien.

According to Le Monde, over 250 protest events are taking place across the country. As noted by the General Confederation of Labour, more than a million people are participating. At the same time, the French Ministry of the Interior reports 500,000 participants, of whom 55,000 took to the streets of Paris.
