In the capital, law enforcement agencies detained Lidiya Egorova, the mother of a conscripted serviceman, who had staged a solo picket near the building of the Russian Ministry of Defense. This information was disseminated by Paulina Safronova, the wife of another combatant in Ukraine.

Egorova's protest was captured on video. It took place on the day marking the three-year anniversary of the start of mobilization in Russia. During the picket, the woman held a sign that read: "Freedom for the mobilized 09/21/22 — 09/21/2025."
