On the night of September 22-23, the air defense system destroyed 32 Ukrainian drones that were flying towards Moscow. This was reported by the capital's mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

According to his information, the attack began on the evening of September 22, and by midnight at least 15 drones had been destroyed.

As reported by Telegram channels in the Moscow region, in Reutov, four cars were damaged due to falling drone debris.

Due to the drone attack, Sheremetyevo Airport temporarily suspended arrivals and departures of aircraft. At Vnukovo, more than 20 flights were delayed.

Following the attack on Moscow, photos and videos appeared online of a low-flying An-124 transport aircraft over the city, possibly belonging to the 224th Flight Unit (a unit of the Ministry of Defense). Analytical Telegram channels suggested that the aircraft was likely evading an attack by Ukrainian drones. However, as "Agency" notes, citing aviation experts, due to the large size of this aircraft, an illusion may arise that it is closer to the ground than it actually is.
