A resident of the city of Cherkessk was held administratively liable in the form of a fine for posting images of rainbow flags on her page on the social network VKontakte. At the same time, the woman had no access to this page for five years.

The Cherkessk City Court in Karachay-Cherkessia has imposed a fine of one thousand rubles on a local resident in a case concerning LGBT propaganda (Article 20.3, Part 2 of the Administrative Code). The reason was the posting of images with rainbow flags on the social network VK. The information about the incident was disseminated by the publication "Novaya-Evropa."
