On October 10, public hearings will be held in Yakutia regarding amendments to the regional Constitution proposed by the head of the republic. Journalist Vitaly Obedin, in his article noticed by the publication 7x7, revealed the essence of the amendments proposed by the authorities.

According to Obedin, the presented draft of the document is openly anti-people in nature and aims to centralize power, as well as strengthen the personal influence of the head of Yakutia. He emphasized that these changes absolutely do not align with the interests of the region's residents.
