Ksenia Sobchak removed the interview with Sergey Grigoriev-Apollonov from her YouTube channel after receiving a notice from Roskomnadzor. She personally announced this through her social media accounts.
As the journalist explained, the demand from RKN arrived the day before. However, she did not disclose which specific moments in the interview the regulatory body considered to violate the ban on so-called "LGBT propaganda."
In her post, Sobchak noted that currently, the practice of applying the relevant article of the law to media is limited, and there are few real precedents related to content. According to her, lawyers are providing conflicting advice. "But I and my editorial team live in Russia, work here, love our country in both sorrow and joy, so we comply with all current laws. I apologize both to the interview's subject and to the viewers for the forced removal," she added.
