In St. Petersburg, architect Alexander Suponitsky was shot dead. According to RBC and Fontanka, citing sources in law enforcement, his ten-year-old daughter was with him at the time of the attack.
The incident occurred in a residential building on Kremenchugskaya Street, where Suponitsky lived. As Fontanka reports, the architect was about to take the child to an educational institution at that moment.
When Suponitsky and his daughter approached the elevator, an unknown man approached them and ordered them to kneel. After that, the perpetrator fired a shot at the architect and fled the scene. The girl immediately returned to the apartment.
