During military operations in Ukraine, a resident of the city of Volsk in the Saratov region, Ilya Kanakhin, who had previously been repeatedly criminally prosecuted, was killed. The information was disseminated by the publication "Volsk.ru," which was also noted by "Mediazona."

According to the published data, Kanakhin's death occurred in April in the territory of the Donetsk region. The burial of the Volsk resident took place on October 13. Previously, Russian judicial authorities at different times had established his guilt in the murders of four people, as well as in the beating of one man.
