The governor of the Samara region dismissed the head of the district, using profanity, following an incident involving damage to a memorial stone.

Governor of Samara Oblast Vyacheslav Fedorishchev dismissed the head of Kinelsky District Yury Zhidkov, using profanity. The reason was damage to a memorial stone. The regional leader wrote about this incident on his social media.

In the published video, the governor and his staff member discuss the stone with a damaged plaque that bore the words: "On this site, an obelisk will be erected to our fellow countrymen — participants of the Great Patriotic War."
