The Russian armed forces carried out large-scale strikes on the territory of Kyiv and its region, as well as on Zaporizhzhia with adjacent areas, and the Odesa, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Sumy regions. This information was shared by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his Telegram channel.
"According to current data, 17 people were injured. Unfortunately, six of them, including two children, have died. I express my condolences to the families and loved ones," Zelenskyy wrote.
In Kyiv, as reported by Mayor Vitali Klitschko in his Telegram channel, two civilians were killed. One of them was a victim of a drone strike on a 16-story residential building in the Dnipro district.
The mayor also specified that 19 more people were injured, including five children. Five adults and four children were hospitalized, while the others received outpatient medical care.
