Lithia has imposed a temporary one-month ban on crossing the border with Belarus. This decision was made after cases of balloons carrying smuggled goods were recorded on Lithuanian territory.

The Lithuanian government has approved a resolution to close the state border with Belarus, which will be in effect until November 30. According to Delfi, this measure was a response to the launch of balloons carrying smuggled goods.
