A resident of the Lipetsk region was held administratively liable and fined for posting images deemed "satanic." Among these materials was the popular internet meme "Suffering Middle Ages."

The Dobrinsky District Court of the Lipetsk Region imposed a fine of one thousand rubles on local resident Alexander Karasev. The basis for this was a violation of the article on public demonstration of the symbols of the "International Satanist Movement" — an organization that does not exist in reality but is officially recognized as extremist in Russia. This incident was reported by the publication SOTA.
